                       Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jared Carbajal is an up and coming Jazz Saxophonist with a degree in Jazz Studies from San Diego State University.

                     Jared Carbajal discovered his passion for music working four seasons as a contracted musician at California's Great America. He became a part of many talented acts such as The Hometown Jam Band, Summer Night Swing and Hot Rhythm Nights! In The summer of 2019, Jared became a member of the Disneyland All-American College Band. In this group, Jared not only got to share the Disney magic on stage every day with esteemed peers, but he also had the opportunity to record at the world-renowned Capitol Records and play with world-class jazz musicians such as Gordon Goodwin, Wayne Bergeron, Sal Lozano, Jiggs Whigham and Greg Fields.

                     At San Diego State University Jared is a proud member of the Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra, and Jazz Ensemble. With the SDSU Jazz Ensemble, Jared has had the great pleasure of touring in Europe, premier with the JAZZTECS album and has also been able to perform with jazz masters such as Jeff Hamilton, Jon Faddis, Ernie Watts, Christopher Hollyday, Matt Harris and Kristen Korb. 

                      Jared is also a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a music fraternity with the sole purpose of improving the livelihood of musical students and advancing music in America. Through this fraternity, he had the opportunity to be the musical director of a twenty five-member choir that went out frequently to perform throughout the San Diego area.

                     Outside of the university, you can find Jared playing in various community bands, Jazz/Pop/Latin/Rock/Reggae bands, musicals, teaching private lessons, and gigging around town with his own band.

                     Jared Carbajal's goal is to inspire the next generation of musicians. Growing up in low income neighborhood with a single mother, Jared had to become self-driven and determined to succeed in music. During his high school years, Jared accomplished being a four-year member of the Santa Clara County Honor Band, the California All-Northern Honor Bands, and the California All-State Honor Bands. By being a recognized leader in school and an example of success, he hopes to inspire music majors and musicians who are seeking opportunities in entertainment.
